In Northwest Dallas, at the corner of Marsh Lane and Walnut HIll Lane there is a void left by the old Westlake Ace Hardware store that shuttered its doors this past July after being in the location for over 16 years.

There were many upset residents of Westhollow that had been longtime patrons of that hardware store. It had a “neighborhood feel” many said.  However, Sears hopes that their new Sears Hardware Store will function and be like any old school neighborhood hardware store where they know you and will answer your questions knowledgeably and with great customer service. They want it to be the opposite of a Home Depot or Lowe’s experience where no one knows your or cares to help much.

The build-out has already begun and it should be open by late June of this year.
